I’m so very glad you are here because I have so many wonderful things planned for us to accomplish together. I have a little gift called Grace that I want to share with you.
First of all, let me start off by saying I know how hard motherhood can be. Secondly, I know how lonely it can get. It seems like its normal to feel discouraged, lonely and undervalued. Its seems like it’s normal for you to feel distant, disconnected and overworked. You feel this way because our culture today has trained us to feel like this. We are made to feel less than. Like we will never measure up.
Mama, all these feelings are a lie. I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to be perfect or even close to it. I want to help you find the value in the life you are living right now, not the life you think you should be living. I want to give you a little bit of Grace.
When my first daughter was born I lived in a little fantasy bubble where life was always perfect. I had this cute little bundle of joy that slept all the time and I had all this new-found free time to do whatever I wanted. I wasted too much time. Wasted. When my little baby turned 9 months old my world came crashing down. She was diagnosed with a very rare liver cancer ( a long tale meant for another day ). I realized that life can change in a split second, in a heartbeat, with a single word. I would never get back all of that wasted time. Thankfully our story didn’t end there and we were given a little bit of Grace.
I decided that I needed to make a change, or actually a lot of changes. I needed to start living life on purpose. Our daughter has made a full recovery and now together my family strives to live each day on purpose and with Grace. We live, breathe and wear it.
Here at The Graceful Olive we explore how to live life on purpose. I will give you ways to help bring purpose and Grace to areas of life that I struggled with and I know other moms are struggling with today.
Living with Grace is about simplifying your life, simplifying your processes, and minimizing all that time you spend on tasks and chores and those never-ending to-do lists. It’s about maximizing the quality time you have with your loved ones. I will teach you how to organize your life to allow more time to experience all the wonderful things this life offers.
Breathing Grace is about changing the thought patterns that make us feel inferior. Consequently I will teach you how to be happy with where you are and what you have. As a result I want you to be able to go out into the world and be a light for others.
Wearing Grace…. well its about wearing pieces that inspire you and those that you cross paths with.
Please don’t continue down the path of more waiting, more wanting and more wishing. You have everything you need already no matter how much or how little it is. I am sharing with you a piece of this Grace that I have been given.
